"The Rough-T" is a band that uses manga characters drawn by Takayoshi Kuroda, and created by singer Ai Takekawa for the Japanese TV show J-MELO. The audition to join the band was held on August 2011, when kevn was chosen as part of the band, together with 2 other international members from the UK and Philippines.

After some months working on the song, on May 2nd "The Only Star" was finally released on iTunes, produced by famous guitarist Marty Friedman, with vocals by Ai Takekawa, and also including some production and music additions by kevn.
